Yo. As I've said before, I'm a writer, voice actor, artist, designer, all that nerd shit.
But what's my business here? Why did I choose to set myself up a little corner of the internet?
Well, truth is I want to make something. Something big.
I want to be one of the greats, one of the creative writers of all time. I look at the modern, frankly disgusting state of modern media and the Internet and sigh.
Politics, politics everywhere. Predatory tactics in every conceivable outlet. The entertainment industry seems to hate it's audience and loves to blame their own fans at the slightest criticism.
But I'm not here to complain or perpetuate the negativity.
For lack of a more elegant term, why don't we just cut the bullshit?
I'm not interested in following any formula, trying to play the internet game, content farm, whatever.
I'm here to express my imagination. That's all.
My end goal is to create a true extended universe, almost MCU in scale, with myself as the mastermind.
I want to tell cool stories about imaginary worlds. With passion, with a sense of care for the artwork.
Hopefully enough to make you say: "Wow, they really made this because they thought it was cool."
Because that's the reason humans started telling fantastical stories, duh.
I call it the Controlled Chaos Extended Universe, or CCEU.
It's a blanket term for the worlds in my head, inhabited by characters of my own creation. (with appearances from my friends as well!)
The range of stories I plan to tell is diverse and colorful, much like the whirlwind of interests and hyperfixations that have inspired me all my life.
I find an unfathomable amount of beauty and love in little details, varying aesthetics and creations. I want a piece of that because I love it, and because it actually matters to me.
So far, I probably have five different "shows" (really just concepts in different stages of brainstorming), several books, and dozens of characters.
And I'm not content with leaving them in my head forever. I want to share them with the world.
